Check out this Azur Lane equipment guide to find out more about what to equip on your shipgirls – probably the hardest part in AL.
Azur Lane is a Bullet Hell, side-scrolling style mobile game in which a character roster uses battleships from World War 2. In this game, you will control 6 characters, appearing in the map to shoot enemies, firing bullets at them. Along with this are RPG elements with enhancement, skill, and gear, which provide wider depth to the game.
In this Azure Lane Equipment Guide for June 2020, we’ll list common recommended equipment for your ship’s roster and where to get them.
1 – Destroyer Guns Guide:
Equipment priority: 138.6> 130> 127 = 100
Between these 4 guns, the Twin 130MM theoretically has the most damage, but is held back as its ammo is normal. This 138.6 mm remains the best DD gun in the game. These two weapons are locked behind events – you probably won’t be equipped with too many of them.
The twin 100 has the highest attack speed for a gold DD gun. You can either use ships with proper skills or use a 76mm AA gun. If you don’t have the best 2 guns then Twin 127 vanilla is preferred for DD. There are some special rules about using twins 130 in Tashkent and using twins 100 of kitkaus.
When destroyers equip guns on warships, the rules remain much the same.
2 – Torpedo Guide
Equipment Priority: Rainbow Quint 533 Mag> Quint 533> Quad 610> Quint 533 Mag> Quad 533 Mag
This is very much based on statistics. The magnetic line of the tarps exchanges its stats for the ability to house at the target – except for the rainbow versions, everything else is not worth using. Being a Rainbow Quint 533 mag event exclusive, the Gold Quintuple 533 is still a staple tor for the auto and the Quod 610 is the best for the manual.
3 – Submarine Torpedo Guide
Equipment Priority: G7e> type 95 = mark 16
Currently, the game has only 3 sub torres. Overall, the G7e with the lowest cooldown and home capability is the best of them all – it is recommended to equip all sub with that tar. The Mark 16 and Type 95 are designed to be of varying use – the Mark 16 will increase the sub’s initial barrage damage while the Type 95 will increase the normal damage of the normal attacks.
4 – Light Cruiser Guns Guide
Equipment Preference: Triple 152 B-38> Prototype Triple 152 (DP MK17) = Prototype Triple 152> Triple 155
If you do not have a prototype triple 152 then the twin 150 can be used. The single 150 is best for vessels with Proper Barrage. Overall, the Triple 152 B-38 has suffered the most damage, however, being that particular, you’ll probably have to stick with the prototype Triple 152 Mk 17 and Prototype Triple 152, both of which are research guns.
The same equipment priority can be applied when equipping a CL gun on a Battleship.
5 – Heavy Cruiser Gun Guide
Equipment Preference: Twin 203mm (ML1924)> Prototype Triple 203mm AA = Prototype Triple 203mm Main Gun> Prototype 203mm (Type 3) = Twin 203mm (M1927)> Twin 203mm (SKC)
The best gun on the list, the Twin 203 MLE 1924, is special event, so you can’t have more than one of it. For the remaining slots, the mix and match between Triple 203 AA and Triple 203 Men is better. The shift between AP and HE depends on the enemy you are facing. If you do not yet have these two guns on research, buying a 203mm Type 3 at the core shop is not a bad idea. Finally, the Twin 203 SKC can be obtained from boxes, which is somewhat useful until you get better weapons. The twin 203 M1927 is very rare – only the best equipped on the Zara.
6 – Battleship / Battlecruiser Guns Guide
In this category, we have to divide into two sections: Barrage Gun and Damage Gun.
Equipment preference for barrage ships: twin 381 = twin 380 = twin 406> 410 mounted
Overall, if your ship is focused on a barrage, the twin 406 is probably the most powerful, with about 10% more damage. The 380 and 381 are fast – choose between AP and HE to equip your ships depending on the situation. 410 is the choice of the poor – choose it if you don’t have others.
Equipment preference for salvo ships: Triple 406 mk6 = Triple 410 mounted> Triple 381 AA = Triple 381 (1934)
Overall, the Triple 406 is the best choice for the MK6 HE while the Triple 410 mounted is the best for the AP. Relaxation ships are typical guns – Quad 356 is for KGV, Triple 381 is for Littorio, Quad 380 is for Jean Bart, and Triple 406 is for Gascon Museum and Massachusetts.
The Twin 457 rainbow gun is extremely rare and is the strongest gun in the game. However, due to its extreme rarity, we will not mention it here. You need about 8-10 months to get one.
7 – Aircraft Carrier Plans Guide
Equipment priority for fighters: F4U> Rippu = Sea Fury = Hellcat = Seafang> Rest
The F4U is the best without any competition – just grab some of them in the core data shop. The rest can either be found on the map in boxes or fields.
Equipment priority for dive bombers: Helldiver> BTD-1 Destroyer> Rest
The SB2C is the best in the Heldiver slot and is super easy to obtain – just stick with it. The Ju 87C on the Graf Zeppelin is superb, and the BTD 1 is great on ships with low aviation stats. The rest are not usable.
Equipment preference for torpedo bombers: TBM Avenger = Barracuda = Rusey = Swordfish = Devastator = Firebrand> Ferry Albacore
Torpedo planes are about the same, each performing a different function. Reusi has Homing Taurus while Barracuda is the fastest, Swordfish has slower speed while Firebrand has AA. The VT18 has Damage Amp Skill while the VT8 has a lot of damage from 2 Airstrikes. Foreby Albacore is unique to formidable.
8 – Azur Lane Equipment Guide 2020: AA and Aux
AA guns are pretty much the same except that STAAG is the strongest and Heismere 2 due to their bonus hit mat. Aux Equip are quite easy: OxyTor and Toolbox on DD, Gold Rudder on Cruiser, Black / White Shell + Radar on BB and Steam Catapult on CV.
