Several reports on DR DISRESPECT’s twitch ban
Industry insider Rod ‘Slasher’ Peak who goes by the Twitter username @Slasher tweeted about the developments. Rod had specifically emphasized that the ban was not related to the affected DMCA. Probably, unrelated to copyright attacks from streaming platforms.
Therefore, this was due to something regarding Twitch’s code of conduct or / and community guidelines.

About the previous year, Dr Disrespect was banned for streaming when he filmed some clips in a public bathroom on his visit to E3. Herschel is quite vocal in the industry about his views and some people may even consider him ‘outspoken’ at times.
Also, after no confirmation from Twitch, the community has begun to speculate whether it has anything to do with the ongoing #MeToo movement in the export industry. This week, the scene was broken after several cases of sexual harassment involved a tee complaint of harassment of Dota 2 celebrity figure Tobywan.
