The Gamescom video from Dragon Age 4 suggests that the story will have a completely different focus than incubation, and that is a good thing.
After a long wait, Bioware has revealed more about its upcoming fantasy title Dragon Age 4. The studio revealed more concept art, some clips of box creatures, and additional commentary about the game’s creation.
In the new video, a developer stated that the story of Dragon Age 4 was created with a focus on “what happens when you don’t have the power”. The indication that the player will be significantly different from the player character in the hero is a judicial inquiry, and that is a good thing.
Inquisition’s Protagonist Problem
Curious from Dragon Age: Curiosity is seen much earlier in the game as Herald of Andrast. Playing in the Chuna One archetype, the player is forced to complete the main quest from there, rather than his own unique inspirations. This is generally more satisfying when RPGs give the player reasons for their motivation to align with their character. In Dragon Age: Origins, the player heads off on the main quest to lose almost everything. His previous life is taken from him, and his new life in the warden is all but destroyed. By the end of the game, it realizes that there has been real development and achievement, as if success was achieved against all odds. BioWare’s new path
