PUBG PC Lite is the toned-down version of the original Player Unknowns Battlegrounds game. It needs lesser resources to run the game and its graphics are significantly reduced in order to support low-end systems. The original game had previously received a graphics overhaul for the first map called Erangel dubbed Erangel 2.0. we now think that PUBG PC Lite may also be getting this update because the official twitter account of PUBG tweeted a photo of a statue bust. This was not seen even in the original game and was added later in its Erangel 2.0 update. For the same reason, the lite version may also be getting a remastered version of Erangel.
Before this, the twitter handle of PUBG Lite shared patch notes of updates and primarily uses it to communicate with the PUBG community. The last major update for PUBG Lite fixed so many bugs and glitches. Also now players can heal themselves while moving. This is a really nice addition as we can now get our health back up while moving behind cover to avoid enemy fire and grenades.
Minor fixes and Improvements: PUBG PC Lite:
- Bluezone out of sync issue has been fixed.
- Spectator mode glitch where the scope doesn’t appear.
- The firing sound for UMP45 has been adjusted.
- When switching between ADS and canted sight, everything appears black.
- Showing iron sight when in ADS even though you equipped a scope.
- Players getting stuck in the mountains of monte Nuevo.
Apart from all these bug fixes, PUBG Lite got its India server, reducing ping for Indian PUBG Lite players with low-end hardware and increasing its player base. They also released a beta version of the game with a 4v4 team deathmatch as a new feature that has been around for some time in PUBG MOBILE. The map for this TDM mode is also the same as with the map in PUBG MOBILE.
