The latest addition to 343 Industries’ biggest franchise is scheduled to arrive in 2021 and after an unexpected delay, fans are desperate to jump into Halo Infinite. It is fair to say that the game looks like the most ambitious project in the Halo series.
Halo Infinite is arguably the most anticipated game set to release on Xbox Series X / S in 2021. With the title being the sixth main installment in the popular Halo universe, fans can expect the next chapter in the Master Chief’s story to follow.
Despite being first marketed as the launch title of the Xbox Series X, the game was unexpectedly delayed by the end of 2021. Of course, this has left fans wondering what changes 343 Industries is bringing to the game during this additional development time.
Without further ado, you break down everything you need to know about Halo Infinite.
Helo infinite release date
Originally, the latest Halo title of 343 Industries was released on November 10, 2020. However, the developers opted to delay the game until 2021 “to ensure that the team has enough time to deliver the Halo game experience that meets our vision.”
This unexpected delay caused much disappointment to fans of the franchise. After the mixed response to the Xbox game showcase, rather than the gameplay of the title, fans were happy that the game was going to get more development time before this release.
In terms of the current release date, 343 industries have announced that the game is set to arrive in the fall of 2021. While this is not a specific and concrete date, it gives us a rough idea when we can expect to get our hands on the title.
If we were to make any prediction, we would have guessed that Halo Infinite would arrive in September or November of 2021.
Helo infinite leaks and rumors
Although there has not been a large amount of leaks related to Halo Infinite, it has been revealed that various members of The Alliance development team have worked on Halo Infinite.
The alliance is best known for its work on Gears 5 and has clearly assisted 343 in building the game.
It is impossible to know what this means for the title, but it will certainly be interesting to see if there are any similarities between Halo Infinite and Gears.
Helo endless gameplay new features and demo
We got our first look at the gameplay of Halo Infinite at the Xbox Ganes Showcase, an event showcasing all the titles coming to the Xbox Series X / S in the near future.
The eight-minute long demo at the event gave us a glimpse of some new features that we can see in the title. Also a master chief has a grappling hook that allows him to draw in enemies or reach higher ground.
Despite the excitement generated for the title, there was widespread disappointment among fans about the game’s graphics. It was no doubt that there is a reason behind the 343 decision to delay the game until 2021. Since the delay, 343 has admitted that the graphics in the demo were not as polished as they would have liked: “The reality is that the art and visuals were not what we wanted for Halo at the bar. “
As of 343, they have taken feedback and are using the extra development time “to create the best looking Halo game”. It is fair to say that the developers are setting the bar very high, which is what the fans of the series really want to hear.
Helo infinite beta release date
343 Industries announced in January 2021 that they would hold multiple “test flights” (a fancy name for the public beta test) before the full release shortly before the fall.
If you want to sign up to participate in a test flight, you can find out how to do it here. So far we do not have an official release date for public sons, but we will update this section as soon as we get more information.
Helo infinite platform
As expected, Halo Infinite is a special title owned by Microsoft so the game will arrive on Xbox C / S, Xbox One and PC.
There were some rumors and leaks that 343 industries had canceled the release of Halo Infinite on previous generation consoles. Fortunately, a community manager in 343 called this information false.
Helo Infinite Multiplayer and Battle Royal
At the time of writing, there is little information about Halo Infinite’s multiplayer. It is fair to say that we can expect to see a return to some classic game modes and weapons, however, there has been no credible leak yet revealing any new information.
Despite this, Microsoft has confirmed that Halo Infinite’s multiplayer will be free to play and will support 120FPS on the Xbox Series X. This is exciting news for Halo fans as it shows that 343 are pushing the boundaries of the new next-gen hardware.
Some rumors have suggested that Halo Infinite will include some form of Battle Royale mode. With the massive success of titles such as Top Legends and Call of Duty: Warzone, it would not be a surprise if 343 opted to create their very own BR.
The giant twitch personality Michel ‘Shroud’ Gruziec has argued that in the modern era there may be a perfect way for Halo to adapt and compete for sports.
Despite this, it is worth noting that the 343 is yet to confirm that BR is in any mode, so we have to keep our eyes open for any leaks or major announcements.
For now, this is everything we know about Halo Infinite and will bring it to the table in 2021. If any new information, leaks or announcements are made, we will be sure to update this article.
