Games like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile have come a long way in the past few years, offering truly console-quality gameplay with smartphones. However, touch-screen controls have their limitations, and virtually any player would benefit from playing PUBG Mobile or any other game with a controller.

Unlike COD Mobile, which provides support for many popular controllers, PUBG mobile controller support is still limited more than two years after release. That said, there are some ways to enhance the experience. Here you need to know about PUBG Mobile Controller Support!

PUBG Mobile does not support the use of Bluetooth controllers on Android and iOS devices. There are ways to achieve this with some plug-ins and devices, but these are not officially supported and may restrict your account.

However, there is a way to play PUBG Mobile with a controller, and this is via a PUBG Mobile PC emulator such as Tencent Gaming Buddy or Bluestacks. These applications allow you to fully customize the input, allowing you to use any PC game controller or mouse and keyboard. Note that playing on an emulator will match you with other emulator players, even if grouped with friends on mobile.

If you decide to play on PC, the best PUBG mobile controller is the Xbox One Wireless Controller. It has been a main console controller for years, and if you don’t already have one, you can pick one up at the link below.

What are best PUBG Mobile controllers for Android and iOS?

Although full controllers are not supported in PUBG Mobile, some manufacturers are making devices that work with battle royale Titan. These are essentially trigger attachments that clip to your phone and allow you to shoot without taking your thumbs from virtual sticks. Since they do not have any software component, they work on both Android and iOS devices.

They are available in two variants: one with clips only and one that fits your entire phone in one enclosure. Both will work with PUBG Mobile or any other mobile game and are much easier to master than “Paw” Grip. See our favorite PUBG mobile triggers below.

In addition to the triggers, you can get a slightly more tactile experience by sticking the phone joystick on your screen. These are very easy to find without looking, although they won’t let you sprout into PUBG and can block significant amounts of screen for smaller phones. They are also very inexpensive, so hardcore PUBG mobile players have nothing to lose by giving them shots!

The clip above is quick and easy to install, before you can drop into Arrangel or Vikendi, one more step has to be taken. For the fire button that appears below the trigger spot, you need to go into settings and adjust your control scheme.

To do this, open the settings in-game, then tap the controls on the right and customize. From there, you can move any button you want to the top of the screen where the triggers hit. If you won’t always play with PUBG Mobile Trigger then you want to create a new layout. When finished, tap Save and Exit.

Will PUBG Mobile support the controller in the future?

It has been more than two years since PUBG Mobile was officially launched, and there has been no indication from Tencent or Lightspeed & Quantum that controller support will be added. Said that, Tencent’s other major franchise, Call of Duty Mobile, added controller support in late 2019, so it is unlikely that the decision will be revisited in the near future.
