New details emerge on The Outer Worlds’ Peril on Gorgon DLC, including how big the level cap increase is and other features coming to the RPG.
Obsidian Entertainment had a big presence during the Xbox Series X event, appearing with three announcements. It showcased a newly launched trailer for Grounded, announced its next big RPG eve, and the first of two DLCs for The Outer Worlds. Titled Peril on Gorgon, the first new DLC looks powerfully impressive with a ton of boot features.

Although some details are scarce, the trailer confirms new weapons, a new area for exploration, and some story hints. Peril’s debut on Gorgon shortly after Outer Worlds, however, increased such a level cap when DLC could be introduced, and more details were also confirmed.
The level cap for The Outer Worlds is increasing by 3, which means that the new maximum level for the game will be 33 and about 6-8 hours of gameplay will be added. The main game became so popular that the ambition of the two DLCs of the outside world has reportedly expanded, so it may have excited many fans of the game. It also comes with an additional bonus and new drawbacks to unlock, along with some new perks to exclude NPCs.
For those who want to check out DLC without a maximum level or endgame character, however, the story is not DLC endgame content. The DLC cannot be started at the beginning of the outside world, but once players finish the main quests (about halfway through the game) on Monarch, players will be able to check out Peril on the Gorgon DLC. This possibility means that the story here is somewhat different from the events of the main game, and that the main game will be able to get new weapons and ends later.
Perhaps the biggest question now is that a new partner for Outer World also works. It seems unlikely, its release date is not so far away and they will likely appear big in the trailer, but it is an exciting prospect nonetheless.
