YggTorrent – Pirate site changes address and becomes YggTorrent.se

YggTorrent has again changed its address. The pirate site has actually opted for a new domain name located in Sweden (.se). After their .ws domain name was seized by their registrar Takos.

Yggtorrent is routinely blocked by French ISPs, but also by Google, which often removes hundreds of pages of sites from its search engine. Or, as recently, as his registrar, Takov, decided to seize his domain name without further details. As always, the parade of administrators involves changing your address. This is the case again since December 2, 2019: Yggtorrent is gone again, and this is the direction Sweden has at the moment!

YggTorrent: Invalid download site again moved to another domain name

If you are a user of the site, you have undoubtedly already noticed that the site is inaccessible to a domain in the island of Samoa via the “.ws” extension. But now you have to go directly to Yggtorrent.se to connect it. The change was formalized on the site’s official Twitter account, so despite this change of address, Yggtorrent remains the same user account with the same site as well as the interface. However, as the domain name was unilaterally suspended by Tucows, Yggtorrent no longer has control over it. And so it was not possible to configure automatic redirection to assure Internet users.

As a reminder, the illegal download site uses the BitTorrent protocol to share music, movies, or series. The platform lifted the torch from the T411 in 2017 and has faced several trials since. Belgium on its side, for example in the past blocking YggTorrent. In December 2017, YggTorrent changed its interface to be able to return to Google interface results. T411 used a similar method to avoid interruptions placed by Internet service providers at the request of the courts.
